- Request a pick up by completing the SDFF Recycle Form. To qualify for a free pick up a minimum of 20 qualified computer-related items is required. Typically, qualified computer items are considered to be computers, laptops, and monitors. Confirmation will be given prior to pickup. Pickups consisting of less than 20 qualified items will be completed for a fee (pick up fees range from $50 to $75 depending on location).
- Drop off equipment for FREE. SDFF has open drop-off hours Monday thru Friday 11 AM to 4 PM (Holidays excluded).
In most circumstances, equipment donations to SDFF are salvaged, with proceeds directly supporting SDFF’s technology access programs in San Diego County.
Maintaining data integrity and data security are cornerstones in today’s business environment. San Diego Futures Foundation offers data wiping service for a fee (click here for data wiping options). However, if data wiping service is not elected, SDFF is not responsible for the retention or preservation of any data remaining on or in electronic devices. SDFF is not responsible or liable for the loss of data or personal information left on any device.
SDFF will provide your organization with a donation receipt. SDFF cannot assess the value for donated equipment. Value is to be estimated by the donor only.
SDFF values and appreciates all donations and support provided to our organization. We recognize that some donors prefer to remain anonymous while others would like to be publically recognized as one of our valued partners. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to be listed on our website as a program donor.
