Large amounts of old electronics sitting around can have significant impact on corporations, small businesses, local governments, and schools. Many corporations and nonprofits are trying to identify ways to dispose of used IT equipment in an ethical, environmentally correct, and fiscally responsible manner.
San Diego corporations, local governments, and small businesses have an opportunity to donate used IT equipment to SDFF under its Computer and Electronics Recycling Program.
With one phone call, businesses can arrange the pickup or drop off of unwanted items. We recycle computers, servers, monitors, printers, copiers, phones, faxes, and other test equipment or electronics. A recycler handles all items in accordance with applicable environmental regulations. The monies generated from these salvaged assets are used to fund SDFF programs such as intern training and educational programs for at risk youth and adults in transition.
This approach not only provides a NO COST outlet for disposal of this equipment and ensures that the items are handled in compliance with local, state and federal environmental regulations, but it will also allow the donors to showcase their exemplary efforts in assisting the local community in a meaningful way.
Our drop-off hours are 11:30am to 4pm, Tuesday and Thursday. Our warehouse is on the corner of El Cajon Blvd. and 43rd Street in City Heights. Visit our Contact page for directions.
