COMPUTER DONATIONS

Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher LogoSince 1999, San Diego Futures Foundation (SDFF) has provided more than 14,000 computers to San Diego nonprofits, community-based organizations, schools and foster families.

SDFF is able to donate thousands of computers back to the community thanks to the County of San Diego and Northrop Grumman Corporation.

Each year, the County of San Diego, through Northrop Grumman Corporation, replaces roughly 1/3 of their computers. The displaced computers are sent to SDFF for refurbishment. These retired assets form the cornerstone of several foundation programs, including a computer training program where students and volunteers refurbish the systems. They are then re-deployed by the foundation to clients within the nonprofit community of San Diego. This “service learning” component of the foundation not only enhances educational opportunities for underserved students, but it provides an infusion of technology to the most needy community organizations.

If you are a San Diego-based nonprofit or community organization, you are eligible for a donation of computers.
