A MESSAGE FROM OUR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
For San Diego Futures Foundation, 2015 was a year to focus on our mission, to improve lives through technology.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
By training youth, adults, and seniors in technology SDFF Education and Training has had a significant impact on the quality of life for many in San Diego.

SDFF distributed 3,001 computers in 2015
(46,095 Grand Total since inception), of which 1,410 were donations. Computers went to 193 different nonprofit organizations and 1,125 individuals.

SDFF IT Services supports the nonprofit community in San Diego allowing them to focus on their mission. SDFF IT Services provided regular and reliable support to 56 nonprofit organizations in 2015.

SDFF is helping the environment by responsibly recycling ewaste. In 2015 we recycled 283,186 lbs of e-waste. That is more than the weight of 4 humpback whales. We have now recycled a total of over 2.7 million lbs of e-waste making for a greener San Diego for all.
Staying up to date on the web is critical for today’s nonprofit. Our team of professional web developers keeps nonprofits on the cutting edge with modern, mobile friendly websites. We created 18 new nonprofit websites and provided maintenance services for 8 nonprofits keeping them connected with their partners and clients.

YouTube is now the 2nd largest search engine in the world. So if you don’t have a YouTube channel and keep it fresh with new content you could be missing out. Video makes it easier to tell your story, inform your target audience and connect with partners and clients. SDFF provided professional video production services for 6 nonprofits in 2015.
